What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to bridge engineering and the market by translating complex EV charging products into clear, compelling technical narratives. This role will support networked charging hardware, energy management software, and fleet solutions.
 
You will create highimpact technical content, enable sales and partners with accurate positioning, and ensure technical materials stay current as products evolve. This role requires close collaboration with product management and solutions engineering, as well as external engagement through events and customer briefings.
What You Will Bring to ChargePointYou bring the ability to turn technical product details into buyerfocused storytelling that drives understanding and adoption. Your work will improve sales effectiveness, strengthen product differentiation, and ensure customers and partners have clear, accurate technical guidance. You operate independently, stay close to evolving product capabilities, and use modern tools, including AI, to scale content creation and maintain quality. 
 
The ideal candidate will have prior Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering experience supporting complex technical products. Candidates should be able to demonstrate ownership of technical content, customer-facing product messaging, technical enablement, demos, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. Candidates with a background in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture who are looking to transition into Technical Marketing are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
  •  8+ years of experience in Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Technical Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Engineering roles supporting complex technical products, including experience owning positioning, technical content, sales enablement, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Technical background in EV charging, energy management, fleet electrification, charging infrastructure, or related energy technologies, including knowledge of protocols such as OCPP and connected energy ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to independently create technical marketing content (e.g., white papers, solution briefs, competitive analyses, architecture diagrams, integration guides, demos)
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts into customer-facing messaging and technical narratives
  • Comfortable working hands-on with products and collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and solutions engineering teams
  • Experience using AI tools to support content creation, research, and analysis
Preferred Skills
  • Experience developing competitive technical comparisons based on product capabilities
  • Familiarity with creating architecture diagrams and integration guides
  • Experience supporting product launches with technical positioning, sales enablement, and technical training materials
  • Track record of maintaining and scaling technical content libraries
  • Public speaking experience at industry events, webinars, or customer briefings

This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable.
