Job description

Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together.
Life Fitness and Hammer Strength are building a live, always-on social presence rooted in real facilities, real users, and real training.
This is a hands-on creator role, not a scheduler role. We're looking for someone who wants to be behind the camera, in front of the camera, at events, and in the room capturing authentic moments that connect with our audience. This role supports both Life Fitness and Hammer Strength across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
This Role Is For You If...
  • You'd rather create content than build a social calendar.
  • You are constantly spotting trends, stories, and content opportunities.
  • Your portfolio tells your story better than your resume.
  • You enjoy being both behind and in front of the camera.
  • You thrive in gyms, events, customer spaces, and community environments.
  • You want to help build one of the most authentic and engaging social brands in the fitness industry.

What Makes This Role Different
You'll help tell the story of our brands to two key audiences:
  • B2B decision makers: gym operators, hospitality leaders, developers, architects, and facility designers
  • Fitness enthusiasts: members, trainers, coaches, athletes, and the broader fitness community

Approximately 90% of your work will focus on external audiences, with 10% dedicated to showcasing the people, culture, and community behind Life Fitness and Hammer Strength.
What You'll Do
Create Content That Moves at Social Speed
  • Serve as a primary on-camera personality and creative force across our social channels.
  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content from customer facilities, trade shows, events, athlete shoots, and activations.
  • Spot trends and quickly turn them into authentic, platform-native content.

Build Community & Relationships
  • Own day-to-day publishing and engagement across social platforms.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and community conversations in an authentic brand voice.
  • Build relationships with creators, athletes, trainers, customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Measure, Learn & Optimize
  • Track engagement, audience growth, watch time, and content performance.
  • Continuously test, learn, and improve content based on audience and platform insights.

What We're Looking For
  • 2-5 years' experience creating engaging social content for a brand, agency, media company, or as a creator, along with a portfolio showcasing strong short-form video work.
  • Demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories through short-form video, with strong editing skills and a track record of driving audience engagement.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and other social platforms, including what resonates with audiences and why.
  • Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.
  • Self-motivated, agile, and able to quickly turn ideas into high-quality, published content.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically, with occasional international travel, to attend customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and brand activations while creating real-time content and building relationships within the fitness community.

This is a hybrid role based at our Global Headquarters in Rosemont, IL. Team members work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. #LI-Hybrid
