Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for developing, creating, and distributing engaging content across the Company's digital platforms. The Content Creator & Digital Communications Specialist will assist in the maintenance of social media accounts, create video and photographic content, develop newsletters and marketing materials, and drive employee engagement through Workvivo and other internal communication channels. This role will support the Company's branding, recruitment, employee engagement, training, and communication initiatives while ensuring a consistent and professional presence across all media platforms. This position will support the development of content across all divisions of Roppe Holding Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, and publish engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other company channels.
  • Create and edit videos highlighting company culture, employee stories, events, products, services, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Partner with the Training Coordinator to develop, produce, and maintain training content, including instructional videos, presentations, visual aids, onboarding materials, and digital learning resources that support employee development and operational excellence.
  • Capture and edit professional photography for employee outreach materials for recruiting, social media content, company events, marketing, and employee communications.
  • Maintain all company social media accounts from an employee outreach/attraction standpoint, ensuring consistent branding and regular posting schedules.
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries as appropriate.
  • Develop content calendars and coordinate content releases to maximize audience engagement.
  • Design and distribute company newsletters, announcements, and internal communications.
  • Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Manage and drive employee engagement through Workvivo by creating content, highlighting employee achievements, promoting company events, and encouraging employee participation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and department managers to identify opportunities for content creation and storytelling.
  • Attend company meetings, events, celebrations, community outreach programs, and recruiting events to capture content.
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives to support recruiting and retention efforts.
  • Analyze social media and engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across all communication platforms.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed for marketing and communication projects.
  • Stay current on industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging communication technologies.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar content creation software preferred.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts preferred.
  • Experience with employee engagement platforms such as Workvivo preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating content creation, photography, videography, and social media management experience strongly preferred.
  • Applicants may be required to provide a portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating photography, videography, graphic design, social media management, and content creation experience.
