The Marketing Communications Content Specialist I supports the execution of internal and external communication initiatives by producing clear, accurate and engaging content across FTI’s established channels. Working under the guidance of Communication Strategy Managers and senior content team members, this role focuses on building strong foundational writing, editing and storytelling skills while consistently applying brand voice, tone and messaging standards. The Content Specialist I contributes to reliable, high-quality execution and grows capability through feedback, collaboration and hands‑on experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing is required. Construction, manufacturing or energy industry experience is a plus.
  • or Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.
  • Travel: 5-10%.
  • Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborates with the Communication Strategy Manager and content partners to develop content concepts, messaging frameworks, and campaign narratives along with timelines and expectations.
  • Develops original content across platforms, applying creativity and judgement including the team member portal, video, email, app, presentations, training materials, website, collateral and social media, while following established direction and messaging guidance.
  • Applies FTI brand voice, tone and content standards consistently across all written materials.
  • Edits content for clarity, accuracy, grammar and alignment to audience and channel requirements.
  • Contributes creative ideas, research, and draft content that enhances audience engagement and understanding.
  • Adapts content to reflect the voice and perspective of the author or subject‑matter expert while maintaining brand standards.
  • Incorporates feedback from senior content team members to improve quality, consistency and effectiveness.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
