Job description

Digital Content Assistant

Assist in the development and implementation of digital content strategies for academic program pages on Quinnipiac's website to enhance user experience and drive engagement. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and generate new, innovative ideas for website content. Perform regular content audits to identify areas for improvement, such as content gaps and outdated information. Refresh and update web pages with the latest and most relevant content and photography to maintain accuracy and alignment with the university's goals. Write engaging and concise copy for academic webpages that aligns with Quinnipiac's digital voice and tone. Ensure content follows best practices in SEO and accessibility. Other duties as assigned.

Current QU student. Federal Work Study is preferred. Strong passion for digital media, digital marketing, and communications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop. Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in website/digital content management, content creation, or marketing is preferred, not required.

Hours of position: 10 - 15 per week. Position is located off-campus: 3093 Whitney Avenue, near Whitney Village shuttle stop.
