THE ROLE

We are seeking a full-time Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join the team of a major recording artist. Based in Los Angeles with extensive travel, this role will travel alongside the artist and be responsible for capturing, editing, and publishing content in real time throughout all aspects of their career.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience touring with an artist and understands the fast-paced nature of creating content on the road. This person will be responsible for capturing live performances, behind-the-scenes moments, travel, press appearances, and day-to-day experiences while quickly turning content into engaging social posts that reflect the artist's brand and connect with their audience.

The successful candidate is both a creative storyteller and an experienced social media operator, with the ability to manage the full content process from concept and capture through editing, posting, and performance analysis. They will work closely with the artist, management, label, publicists, agents, and creative partners to support releases, touring, brand partnerships, and ongoing digital growth.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

  • Travel with the artist to capture content across live performances, rehearsals, press appearances, brand activations, studio sessions, travel, and behind-the-scenes moments.

  • Concept, film, edit, and deliver high-quality photo and video content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.

  • Manage the artist's social media presence, including content publishing, scheduling, captions, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.

  • Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent planning, scheduling, and execution of content initiatives.

  • Capture authentic, engaging moments that showcase the artist's personality, career milestones, and day-to-day experiences.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support campaigns, announcements, releases, partnerships, and special projects.

  • Monitor social trends, platform updates, and audience insights to inform content strategy and maximize engagement.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:

  • 2 to 3+ years of full-time experience creating content for a recording artist, talent, influencer, or entertainment brand, including social media management, BTS storytelling, and digital content creation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience collaborating with artist managers, label teams, creative directors, photographers, videographers, publicists, agents, and brand partners.

  • Strong photography, videography, editing, and visual storytelling skills with a demonstrated ability to create engaging short-form content.

  • Strong understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Facebook, including platform best practices, audience growth strategies, and analytics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and photo/video editing software.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work effectively with talent and creative teams.

  • Prior experience in entertainment, talent management, influencer marketing, or a related field is a plus.
