Job Description

The Sr. Digital Content Artist will be responsible for preparing print-ready files, interactive digital publications, email and site content as well as preparing presentation and review materials. They will work directly with the Creative, Production and Account Teams and report to the Creative Content Supervisor.

The Digital Content Artist is responsible for diagnosing and solving problems related to file quality, color matching, asset and font management, formatting and maintaining style sheets. Projects often require working with vendor provided templates and tight adherence to client brand standards. Candidates must be skilled in all Adobe Creative Cloud Applications. This is a technical position, focused on print and digital based pre-production and building quality content.
Responsibilities:

  • Cutting approved assets to size
  • Managing and overseeing asset matricies
  • Work with the Art Directors to oversee asset vetting process and be able to investigate and identify issues related to image use/righs if needed
  • Understanding and managing expectations of image aspect ratios
  • Good working relationship with Asset Management TTeam/Retouchers (Works to make sure images are uploaded to MRM Find before cutting and going live. Able to work with retouching and fill outt retouching firms.)
  • Handle heavy workloads with tight turnarounds
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (Can build out final graphics and icons based on AD's creative direction)
  • Working knowledge of Figma & Sketch(Be able to collaborate with Art Directors in Figma)
  • Knowledge of responsive design and how it affects the cut asset sizes for different breakpoints or the image resolution for HD displays
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, UX team, Project Management team as needed to understand the scope of deliverables
  • Proficiency with the use of Jira tickets(Use them as the source of information for a given assignment. Be able to comment back and forth with PM's/Account in order to keep record of the process. Know how to assign tickets back and forth. Make sure to ALWAYS have a ticket before starting work. Never start an assignment based off a private conversation.)
  • Proficient at using SmartSheets (Know how to build and maintain Asset Matrices. Make sure all assignments that require imagery have an asset matrix. Be able to manage and guide PM/Account/Creative on best practices in order to streamline process.)

Experience:

  • Ability to build/design presentation decks
  • Ability to lend some creative ideas when applicable
  • A drive to learn and grow not only as a CA but as a creative as well
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI design/functionality(Asset cutting rules can bend a bit in specific UI situations)
  • Self-motivated and ready to help out on assignments a bit outside the normal lane of work
