Job description

Quality Health Management (QHM)ย is a cost containment company founded in 2000. QHM specializes in reducing the cost of medical expenses, offering provider network access in over 80 countries and providing customized patient assistance primarily for international patients seeking care in the U.S. as well as patients seeking care globally outside of their country of origin. We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk.ย 

Responsibilities

  • Reviews claims for accuracy and regulatory guidelines including proper payment authorization, documentation, and correct payable amounts.
  • Ensures prompt payment of invoices to providers.
  • Issuing checks and posting corresponding information to BEMASย accounts daily.
  • Reviewing and paying corresponding vendor fees.
  • Research and compile provider data for electronic payment purposes
  • Assists with collections for outstanding invoices

Qualifications

  • ย 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting roleย 
  • Proficiency with accounting software, such asย Quickbooksย 
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerย 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracyย 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsย 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a teamย
