JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
Take responsibility for the accurate and efficient preparation of products for shipment. Utilize technical expertise to ensure orders are properly staged, labeled, and documented, contributing to the smooth and timely delivery of products to our customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Retrieve products from inventory based on order requirements, ensuring accurate quantities and proper quality.
  • Perform visual inspections to verify product condition, labeling, and conformity to order specifications.
  • Utilize technical tools and equipment to assist in the staging process, such as barcode scanners, handheld devices, and label printers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently.
  • Apply accurate shipping labels, barcodes, and product information to staged items.
  • Verify that all necessary paperwork, including packing slips and documentation, is complete and accurate.
  • Ensure that staged products match order details and update warehouse management systems (WMS) to reflect staging status accurately.
  • Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy by recording product movements and adjustments.
  • Coordinate with shipping teams to ensure timely and organized transfer of staged products to outbound transportation.
  • Assist in loading staged items onto delivery vehicles and containers.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities in staged products to supervisors and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of staged orders, including any issues encountered.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and staging products, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain a well-organized staging area, ensuring that products are arranged logically and ready for outbound shipping.
  • Dispose of packaging materials and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  • Effectively communicate with warehouse associates, shipping teams, and supervisors to ensure coordinated staging processes.
