What Impact You'll Have

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the organization's applications and services. Your role will involve working with Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, RedHat Linux, Helm, container management, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS IAM. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform, as well as optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.

What You'll be Owning

GRVTY is seeking a Platform Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA.

What You Must Have

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer)
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with Ansible and Puppet for configuration management
  • Experience with RedHat Linux for OS administration
  • Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
  • Experience with AWS IAM for identity and access management
  • Willingness and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the platform infrastructure

What Would be Nice to Have

  • Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or AWS
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices for integrating security into the development process
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code
