Position Summary

RBCI is seeking a Container Technician Level II to provide the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) with the advanced maintenance, inspection, repair, alteration, overhaul, and certification of ISO containers and 3:1 Configurable Shelters in accordance with military and international standards. This work is onsite at the Williamsburg, VA office. 5%-10% travel may be required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintenance, inspection, repair, and certification of ISO containers and 3:1 shelters to ensure compliance with international shipping and safety standards
  • Proficiency in identifying and correcting deficiencies in accordance with the Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) regulatory requirements and must ensure containers meet all standards for safe transport and operational use.
  • Documenting inspection results, performing corrective actions, and preparing containers for certification.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in maintenance, inspection, repair, and certification of ISO containers and 3:1 Shelters. Knowledge of CSC regulatory requirements for shipment of containers.
  • 5.5.23.1.Required Skills and Certifications- Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) Certifications. Certification to operate 4-30k forklifts.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
