DuPont Contact Center Associate
DuPont has an exciting opportunity for a technical Contact Center Associate within the Global DuPont Contact Center based in Midland, Michigan.
This role serves as a key connection between customers, prospects, and DuPont businesses, delivering exceptional service and support across a variety of channels.
This position works on a hybrid work schedule, 4 days in the office, 1 day remote each week.
The ideal candidate is a fast learner, effective communicator, and self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires strong written and verbal English communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly absorb product and business knowledge while maintaining a high level of customer focus.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, including Technical Service, Quality & Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales, the Contact Center Associate helps customers find solutions and ensures a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support through phone, email, web forms, and social media.
  • Respond to a wide range of customer inquiries, including technical support & product literature requests, purchase information, and quality & regulatory questions.
  • Process warranty claims for consumer products.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and inquiry details.
  • Collaborate with business partners across global teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing product and process training to continually expand knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Competencies
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years technical contact center experience - inbound and outbound call handling
  • Strong ability to learn new systems, products, and processes quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong proficiency in the English language.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; Salesforce experience.
  • Building and construction industry knowledge.
  • French language proficiency.
