Special Pricing Agreement Analyst

The Special Pricing Agreement "SPA" Analyst will develop, maintain, control, audit, and analyze the SPA rebates. Work with the business to resolve complex problems involving daily submissions of rebate claims. Devise and implement measures to improve existing processes and increase customer satisfaction.

The work model for the role is: 3 Days in Office / 2 Remote in Memphis, TN.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes that will minimize deductions, clear deductions in a timelier manner and provide more extensive or reliable information to prevent deductions from being taken on front-end.
  • Analyze and accurately code all customer deductions within 7-day time frame.
  • Properly submit offsets to clear open credits to open customer deductions via FEITH system.
  • Communicate daily via phone and email with customers, sales and other employees to research and resolve customer deductions.
  • Work closely with the business to provide solutions for their needs
  • Re-bill any invalid and aged deductions in a timely manner. Provide completed backup documentation to aid in the collection of the re-bill; pursue and monitor collections of re-bills.
  • Identify and drive process improvement for reducing disallowed/invalid claims, streamlining processes, and reducing deduction volume.
  • Reporting monthly SPA analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Role:

  • High School graduate/GED or higher-level degree; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred
  • 5+ years of A/R work related experience; prior experience in posting and collecting accounts receivable.
  • Strong Investigative skills/ Research; can track prior payments and deductions in a receivable system.
  • Solid understanding of debits and credits, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; most communication with customers and business partners via phone or e-mail.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Intuitive in understanding various web-based applications; able to use the customers web-based solutions for researching /resolving.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Applicants must have work authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
  • SAP knowledge preferred
