Job description

Zulay Kitchen is looking for a creative, hands-on Product Designer to help develop the next generation of kitchen, coffee, and household products. This role will take products from initial concept through development, working closely with sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and creative teams.
Location: Clearwater, FL | Full-Time | On-Site
What You'll Do
  • Design and develop new consumer products from concept to production.
  • Create sketches, 3D models, renderings, prototypes, and product specifications.
  • Research materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging product trends.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to refine designs and resolve production issues.
  • Balance functionality, aesthetics, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Work with Marketing and Packaging teams to ensure cohesive product launches.
  • Manage multiple product concepts and development projects simultaneously.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing physical consumer products.
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing, ergonomics, and product development.
  • Excellent sketching, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take a product from an idea to a production-ready design.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points
  • Experience with kitchenware, cookware, coffee products, appliances, or housewares.
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers.
  • Experience with 3D printing, prototyping, injection molding, die casting, or other manufacturing processes.
  • Experience designing products for Amazon or other high-volume e-commerce brands.
