How will you fit in the big picture?
Independently lead consumer insights and recommendations that guide innovation and brand strategies for The Hershey Company. You will apply practical expertise to analyze complex datasets, interpret market, consumer, and competitive trends, and turn findings into clear business recommendations.
 
In this US-based role, you will lead insights development for 1-2 brands and 1-2 strategic growth opportunity areas, partnering across Consumer Insights & Intelligence, Growth & Marketing, Innovation, R&D, and Sensory teams.
What will you do?
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Growth & Marketing teams, delivering consumer insight-driven recommendations for business decisions.
  • Define insights needs and priorities that inform budget planning and areas of focus.
  • Lead the design, execution, analysis, and communication of insights and analytics projects.
  • Manage relationships with external research agencies and leverage their capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Contribute to Consumer Insights team development and the adoption of strong insights practices.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of practical experience in consumer insights, market research, data analysis, or a related field within a business context. The three-year requirement aligns with the organizational standard for an Associate Manager role.
 
Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Consumer Research, Market Research, Quantitative Analysis, Economics, Psychology, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise across qualitative and quantitative consumer research methods.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to integrate diverse data sources.
  • Ability to translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
