The Opportunity

The Director, Insights & Analytics Business Partner plays a pivotal, senior‑level role at the heart of GPN’s growth agenda—partnering closely with General Managers to shape smarter, faster decisions through consumer‑driven insights. In this highly visible leadership position, you’ll deepen our understanding of consumers, categories, and competitors, and turn complex questions into agile learning plans powered by behavioral data, trends, and both qualitative and quantitative research. You’ll translate rich, multi‑dimensional data into clear strategic direction, craft compelling stories that influence senior stakeholders, and champion a culture of consumer advocacy across teams and throughout the organization. This role is based in Illinois and reports to the VP of Insights & Analytics.

The Skills you will bring to the team
  • Translate data into Insights: Distill data and research findings into actionable insights and clear, compelling recommendations that uncover opportunities for brand growth, inform brand strategy, and key initiatives.
  • Counsel Business teams: Partner with marketers, product, and creative teams to ensure brand strategies and initiatives are informed by consumer and marketplace insights.
  • Compel Teams to Act on Recommendations: Communicate research outcomes, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, through verbally and visually engaging presentations.
  • Drive Brand Health Insights: Monitor and report on brand health of GPN brands including sales performance, awareness, consideration, satisfaction, and brand equity.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Strategic Advisor: Demonstrated experience as strategic advisor to business partners driving data‑driven decision making including informing strategic direction of brands and businesses.
  • Holistic I&A Experience in both Data Analytics and Human‑Centered Insights: Experience combining strong data analytics and human‑centered insights into actionable business recommendations; especially skilled at explaining complex research concepts and market opportunities in simple, applicable business terms.
  • Agility: Ability to devise an effective solution in unstructured learning or constrained resource situations; works effectively in fast‑paced environment while managing multiple clients and brands.
  • Collaboration and communication: Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams including marketing, product development, and creative; excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, share findings, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Empathy: The ability to understand and empathize with the consumer’s perspective and experience and champion broadly across teams and organization.
  • 4 year BA/BS degree required. Minimum of 10+ years of top tier CPG/tech company experience in area of consumer insights & data analytics.

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for Illinois based employees for this role is $180,000 – $250,000 with an annual bonus.
