Data Analyst - 6-Month Contract (Hybrid, San Antonio or Plano, TX)
About the Role
Join a dynamic team as a Data Analyst focused on driving process improvement across non-IT business operations within the financial sector. This hybrid role (on-site and remote) is ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies and opportunities to develop expertise in financial process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution implementation. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, offering exposure to large-scale banking and fintech environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze non-IT business challenges to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
- Develop and articulate clear requirements for business solutions
- Create financial assessment frameworks to evaluate proposed investments
- Identify, evaluate, and present alternative solutions to stakeholders
- Prepare thorough documentation outlining current and desired business process states
- Build consensus and understanding between process owners and solution developers
- Assess ongoing process performance and recommend enhancements
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in SQL (understand, debug, and analyze architecture)
- Strong Tableau skills for data visualization
- Effective communication skills (email, Slack, in-person collaboration)
