โ€ข Analyze business processes and workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for operational or system improvements.

โ€ข Partner with Project Managers to define project scope, requirements, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and potential risks.

โ€ข Collaborate with Development Managers, developers, engineers, and QA resources throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to clarify requirements, evaluate proposed solutions, and resolve requirement-related questions.

โ€ข Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

โ€ข Serve as a liaison between Business Unit leadership and technology teams to ensure business priorities, operational requirements, and constraints are accurately represented in technical solutions.

โ€ข Develop and maintain business process documentation, workflow diagrams, requirements traceability matrices, system specifications, and other project documentation.

โ€ข Define acceptance criteria and support test planning and execution to confirm delivered functionality meets documented business requirements.

โ€ข Analyze data and system behavior to investigate issues, validate requirements, and support business decision-making.

โ€ข Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle and communicate the impact of changes to appropriate stakeholders.

โ€ข Present requirements, recommendations, findings, project updates, and solution considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.

Job Requirements:

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Insurance/Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

โ€ข 3โ€“5 years of Business Analyst experience with direct experience supporting Commercial Property & Casualty insurance products, operations, or technology.

โ€ข Working knowledge of P&C insurance functions and systems, including one or more of the following: policy administration, underwriting, rating, claims, billing, product, or distribution.

โ€ข Demonstrated experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions and workshops involving cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.

โ€ข Strong technical and business writing skills with experience developing business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and workflow documentation.

โ€ข Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
