POSITIONS PURPOSE
Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct (part-time) Business professor to teach a T/Th on ground Consumer Behavior course at our main Austin location for our Fall, 2026 term.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES amp; PRINCIPLES
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Management, Communication, Psychology, or a closely related field required.
  • Minimum of 18 graduate hours in Business, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, or a closely related business discipline required.
  • Professional or academic experience in marketing, consumer behavior, consumer insights, branding, advertising, sales, customer experience, or strategic communication required.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and support diverse undergraduate student populations required.
  • Ability to teach in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the main Austin campus required.
  • Teach assigned courses in person as scheduled and accepted.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and accurate grading using Blackboard Ultra LMS.
  • Complete required trainings and remain current with institutional expectations.
  • Respond consistently and professionally to communication from administration and students.
  • Love and passion for teaching and engaging diverse student populations required

  • Doctoral degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Consumer Psychology, Communication, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience teaching Business, Marketing, or Consumer Behavior courses preferred.
  • Experience using Blackboard Ultra or a similar learning management system preferred.
  • Applied professional experience in marketing strategy, brand management, advertising, market research, consumer insights, sales, or customer experience preferred.
