PDF Solutions is seeking a Senior Consultant Engineer to join PDF to utilize our innovative e-beam systems for enhancing yield in state-of-art 300mm semiconductor fabs. The consulting engineer must be a highly motivated and self-driven team player with strong communication skills and possess the drive to deliver quality results on time in a dynamic, multi-discipline, intensive and highly productive environment.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of PDF eProbe (PDF's innovative e-beam system) output to ensure tool readout maximize customer benefit in yield improvement
- RD Experiments to retarget defects of interest, strengthen signals, reduce noise or improve throughput
- Analysis dataflow creation for repeated and consistent readout.
- Influence customers to also analyze eProbe readouts for yield improvement purposes
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Ability to use layout edit or review tools, such as Cadence ICFB, KLayout or similar
- Familiar with analysis platforms, such as JMP, Spot Fire or similar
- Experience in working with semiconductor fail modes (opens or shorts) in both FEOL and BEOL steps
- Basic device physics understanding, such as P-N junction, transistor operation, CMOS integration
- Ability to drive experiment in a rapid fashion and create a high-quality analysis report to summarize the findings
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with inspection tools, including optical, voltage-contract or spectroscopy
Experience reading or interpreting circuit schematics, GDS/Oasis layouts, or PFA cross-sections
Python or other programming experience (Java, C#, C++, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
Experience working with customer in a technical setting and respond promptly with high standard results.
Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
