Are you our new colleague? We’re looking for a

TATUM Consulting Solutions Director. This is a hybrid opportunity reporting to one of Tatum’s local branches. We are accepting candidates located in or near any of the following major cities: Dallas, TX; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; or Los Angeles, CA.

How you will contribute

You will be the driving force behind client acquisition and growth within Tatum, focusing on the private equity and enterprise finance sectors within the National Healthcare industry. This is a strategic, consultative sales role where you will partner with the Office of the CFO to deliver high-impact project solutions and interim leadership talent, leveraging your proven success in solution-based sales within the finance consulting space.

Your typical day includes

Engaging in high-level, discovery-driven conversations with CFOs and senior finance leaders to understand their most critical challenges, from M&A readiness and compliance to ERP transformations. You will be designing and proposing tailored project solutions, owning the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal closure, and acting as a trusted advisor to key clients.

Your responsibilities include

  • Develop and manage a target account list of CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders.
  • Design and propose tailored project solutions and talent strategies.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key finance stakeholders.
  • Partner with clients to scope projects, define objectives, and align talent.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams and other Randstad business lines on complex engagements.

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, preferably within professional services, consulting, or finance & accounting staffing.
  • Experience selling professional services, consulting solutions, or interim project work to senior finance stakeholders (Director or C-suite level) in the Healthcare Industry highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred (CPA or MBA a plus).
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations (e.g., close, FP&A, audit, SOX, ERP).
  • Proven ability to sell consultative solutions and the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
