CLA is currently seeking an experienced Consulting Director - Acumatica to join our growing CLA Digital Team. This role is for an individual to join our growing team to help scope, discover, design, build, train and test Acumatica Implementations for clients of the firm. The ideal candidate will bring passion and enthusiasm to the team as we work with a variety of new and existing Acumatica clients to build solutions to support their business needs. Both technical and functional accounting and software knowledge are important for the successful candidate.

Role Summary

You're an experienced Acumatica consultant who loves solving real business problems, partnering with clients, and continuously leveling up your craft. We're looking for someone with at least six years of handson Acumatica product experience, ideally in manufacturing (or construction as a strong alternative), who can independently lead projects while thriving as part of a collaborative, peoplefirst team.

This role blends functional expertise, technical capability, and operational + accounting understanding. But above all, we care about personality fit, humility, curiosity, and a genuine desire to work as a team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead implementations of Acumatica across manufacturing or construction clients, from discovery through golive
  • Design solutions that align with client workflows, industry best practices, and Acumatica capabilities
  • Support and troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues across modules
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specs, technical tasks, and configuration plans
  • Collaborate with internal consultants, developers, and project managers to deliver highquality outcomes
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Stay current with Acumatica releases, new features, and industry trends
  • Build strong, trustbased relationships with clients through communication, empathy, and reliability

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of handson Acumatica experience across implementation, support, and solution design
  • Strong background in manufacturing (preferred) or construction (acceptable)
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
  • Experience across both functional and technical areas, including:
