Job description

MDM Construction Management is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, supermarket, grocery store, restaurant, and retail construction projects - including both ground up builds and renovations - ranging from $50K to $5M throughout New England and New York.

Compensation: 

Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, licensing, and project background.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and field teams
  • Manage and maintain project schedules
  • Schedule inspections and coordinate onsite deliveries
  • Maintain daily logs and project documentation
  • Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
  • Oversee quality control and punch list completion

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of construction experience
  • Previous supermarket, grocery store, restaurant, or retail construction experience preferred
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and managerial skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe construction practices
