Job Description

Your new role

As our new Construction Manager, you will be part of our Project Management Group based out of Albany, NY

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
  • Actively works with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects.
  • Responsible for subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
  • Assist Senior Construction Manager and Project Management teams with the change order process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
  • Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
  • Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
  • Estimates cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
  • Assists in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
  • Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.
Qualifications

Qualifications

Associate degree plus 2+ years relevant years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or CM discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional construction management role, with specific experience in procurement support and managing multi-discipline consstruction projects.

  • Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
  • Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
  • Local Travel of 10%
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification (preferred)

Salary Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
