Job description

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant to help them expand their service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, as well as construction defect litigation support solutions at their Palo Alto, CA office.

Your Day Includes:

  • Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work
  • Redlining drawings and specifications to identify design gaps, code compliance issues, and constructibility concerns, and coordinating revisions with project teams
  • Performing peer review of technical documents for accuracy, compliance, and building envelope performance to support quality control and risk mitigation
  • Producing construction document sets including drawings, details, and specifications for roofing and waterproofing systems to support permitting, bidding, and construction

Must Haves:

  • Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline
  • Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, with a PE or RA license preferred
  • Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings
