Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist with daily warehouse operations, including cutting wood, building pallets, and maintaining an organized work environment. Candidates with a construction background and a strong work ethic will thrive in this environment.

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $14.00 per hour
  • Performance-based wage review and potential raise after 90 day-day probationary period

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Handling & Staging: Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and supplies efficiently.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas, aisles, and storage yards clean, safe, and free of debris.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely move materials around the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and tow motors as needed.
  • Team Assistance: Support warehouse leads and construction crew needs with various physical tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Physical Capability: Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and at least 50 lbs throughout the shift, as well as stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Construction Experience: Familiarity with air tools, or hand tools is highly preferred.
  • Tow Motor / Forklift: Prior tow motor experience is a plus, but not required (we are willing to train the right candidate).
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and attentive to safety rules and procedures.
  • Communication: Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work effectively within a team.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Active warehouse and yard setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels typical of a construction/warehouse environment.
  • Frequent walking, lifting at least 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and standing for full shifts.
