Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through expert tile laying, restoration, and finishing techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to new construction remodels, while honing your skills in construction and building material installation.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to determine tile layout and installation procedures.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives for optimal tile adhesion.
  • Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, hardwood, and epoxy floors with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Execute tile laying with precision, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and grout application for a seamless finish.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install tiles efficiently across multiple projects.
  • Perform floor refinishing, water damage restoration, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and other building material installation tasks as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to building installation safety compliance standards while working on construction sites or restoration projects.
  • Support water damage restoration projects by removing damaged materials and installing new flooring or fixtures as part of the repair process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction estimating, building material installation, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry.
  • Hands-on experience with tile laying, epoxy floor installation, vinyl floor installation, hardwood floor installation, and floor refinishing.
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, saws; and power tools including drills and wet saws.
