What is a tile setter assistant?

Tile Setter Assistants are entry-level construction workers who help professional tile setters with the installation of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces. Their duties often include preparing surfaces, mixing adhesives or grout, carrying materials, cleaning up work areas, and cutting tiles under supervision. They play a crucial role in supporting the tile installation process and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently. Tile Setter Assistants may also learn advanced skills on the job, which can lead to becoming a full tile setter over time.
