Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing team) team.

Responsibilities will include development, maintenance, and analysis of a project schedule. The role of Project Scheduler is to ensure that all stages of the construction process are accurately planned and executed in a timely manner. This role is expected to be on the construction site most days.

SUMMARY

  • Primaryresponsibilitywill be supportingour project management team, including self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Independently, or with a project team, create master schedules for projects ranging in size and complexity.
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills and have a background in construction or engineering.
  • Have an understanding of construction processes, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES

  • Have a firm understanding of construction sequencingand duration- ability to work independentlyor with a project teamto developschedulesranging from summary level to detailed activity/resource loaded.
  • Ability to work withmixedlevels of operations, clients, andengineers to build out master schedules,provide critical schedule analysis, and provide team with suggested adjustments to improve schedule outcome.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing scheduling input, and recommendations.
  • Identifyand managepotential risks anddevelopcontingency plans to address them.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Abachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ideal candidates willpossess2+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably MEP trades on construction projects.
  • ProficiencyinOracle Primavera Cloud and / orPrimaveraP6.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis is preferred.
