Job description

Trueline is seeking an Estimator / Account Manager to join their team in the Phoenix market. This is a high-impact role focused on building relationships, winning new business, estimating multifamily electrical projects, and managing client accounts from preconstruction through completion. What You'll Do as the Estimator / Account Manager:

  • Develop and grow relationships with multifamily general contractors, developers, and industry partners throughout the Phoenix market
  • Identify and pursue new multifamily electrical subcontracting opportunities
  • Review plans, scope, and specifications to prepare competitive electrical estimates and proposals
  • Manage project costing, pricing strategy, budgets, and change orders
  • Act as the primary relationship contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers while maintaining ownership of the client relationship
  • Visit jobsites regularly to support clients, review project progress, and strengthen partnerships
  • Assist with monthly billings, schedule of values, and overall account management responsibilities
  • Stay active in the local construction community and maintain visibility within the multifamily market
  • Track upcoming developments, permits, and bidding opportunities to proactively generate new business
  • Support long-term account growth and profitability through strong communication and responsiveness

Estimator / Account Manager Requirements:

  • Strong multifamily electrical construction experience
  • Background in electrical estimating, project management, or account management
  • Ability to read plans, understand scope, and confidently price work
  • Experience managing project financials, change orders, and client communication
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills
  • Self-starter mentality with a hunger to win work and grow accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Phoenix multifamily construction market
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations and field teams
  • Professional and highly motivated personality

Nice-to-Haves as the Estimator / Account Manager:
