Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, managing project schedules, and maintaining quality standards to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Construction Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact between project management and field crews, ensuring smooth operations across all phases of construction.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Accurately read and interpret commercial blueprints
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore.
  • Monitor quality control standards and project specifications.
  • Manage project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contracts and the scope of work.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, safety incidents, change orders, and other relevant records.
  • Assist in estimating costs for future projects by reviewing blueprints

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active job sites.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, including ProCore and Bluebeam.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading.
  • Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and quality control procedures.
