Quality Control Manager for large Data Center Project!

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Data Center QC Manager for an immediate start on a large-scale data center project in Sparks, Nevada.

PAY: $85 to $90/hour (based on experience)

PER DIEM: $125/day for qualified travelers

HOURS: Typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours may vary based on project needs; 10–12 hour days expected

SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; weekends as needed

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Long-Term Project

Data Center QC Manager Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring an experienced Data Center QC Manager to lead and oversee all quality control operations on a large-scale mission critical data center construction project in Sparks, NV.

This position will serve as the lead QC authority on site, managing and coordinating QC Managers across multiple trades including electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and commissioning expectations while driving consistency across all phases of construction.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading QA/QC programs on hyperscale data center, mission critical, or pharmaceutical construction projects and possess strong leadership, documentation, inspection, and turnover experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QC Manager on data center or mission critical construction projects
  • Previous experience managing QA/QC teams across multiple trades required
  • Pharmaceutical construction QC experience is a significant plus and strongly preferred
  • Experience with hyperscale data center construction strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil construction systems
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
  • Proven experience leading quality programs from construction through turnover and commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, project specifications, quality management systems, and construction best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all site QC personnel and trade-specific QC Managers
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project quality control plans and procedures
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, audits, and quality documentation across all trades
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and owner requirements
  • Oversee deficiency tracking, punch list management, corrective actions, and closeout activities
  • Manage turnover documentation and support commissioning efforts
  • Coordinate with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, owners, and commissioning teams
  • Monitor quality metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure all systems are installed, tested, and documented in accordance with project requirements
