Senior Project Manager

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager & Project Manager, with required healthcare construction experience to lead complex projects in the Lexington, Kentucky market. This position will oversee project execution, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, client relationships, subcontractor coordination, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost controls, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership.
  • Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Identify and resolve schedule, cost, quality, and constructability issues.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and contract compliance.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
  • Oversee project closeout and client turnover.

Required Qualifications

  • Healthcare construction experience is required.
  • Proven construction project management experience is required.
  • 8+ years of progressive construction/project management experience preferred.
  • Experience managing healthcare projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contracts, procurement, and change management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
