Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and company expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, scheduling, execution, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and quality control
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
  • Conduct regular site meetings and progress reports with stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project controls
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial and/or residential construction
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience working with public-sector or design-build projects
