Volt is immediately hiring a Construction Project Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico
As a Construction Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead day-to-day construction activities across single or multiple projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety programs and promote team safety performance.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost control, and critical objectives.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, support proposals and project communications.
  • Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
  • Implement project execution plans covering safety, quality, staffing, procurement, and subcontracting.
  • Develop staffing plans, train project teams, and oversee site mobilization/demobilization.
  • Secure permits and manage RFP/bid processes, including subcontractor evaluation and selection.
  • Review and present project reports (budget, cash flow, status) to leadership and clients.
  • Oversee contract administration, RFIs, submittals, change management, and closeout.
  • Manage invoicing, commissioning, startup, and documentation processes.
  • Conduct audits on safety, quality, progress, and financials.
  • Manage labor agreements, staffing, craft classifications, training, and equipment inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, taxes, and licensure requirements.
  • Support community, trades, and governmental relations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project/program/construction management experience (power utilities, transmission & distribution preferred).
  • Experience in renewables or generation projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management software experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, scheduling principles, and Primavera P6.
  • PMP or PE/PEng certification preferred.
  • Must meet company driving requirements and be able to work full-time onsite in Albuquerque, NM.

Pay Range: $55 - $63 per hour,
