Location Requirement: Candidate must live in or be open to relocating to Salt Lake City or within Central Utah.

Travel Requirement: This position will require travel up to 60% of the time

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives
  • Evaluating and contracting with service providers, including architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and contractors
  • Monitoring and directing the work of service providers to ensure performance standards are met
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and completing project status reports

Desired experience and skills:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities
  • Understanding of contracts, agreements, and real property transactions
  • Ability to prepare and manage project schedules and budgets
  • Effective communication with leadership, architects, contracted personnel, and government agencies
  • Advanced level knowledge of construction systems with experience in scope identification and preparation.
  • Proven front-line management skills in a multi-discipline work environment

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience leading projects in multiple sectors (office, retail, infrastructure, hospitality)
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation
  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
