DESCRIPTION:

As an Industrial Construction Project Manager at Lunda Construction, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the overall leadership, development, estimating, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects while driving business growth within key markets including paper mills, foundries, manufacturing facilities, moveable bridge structures, power generation, and other heavy industrial environments.

This role serves as the primary client contact and is accountable for all aspects of project management, including business development, estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, safety, quality, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and project closeout. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities and expanding services within existing and prospective accounts.

  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers in market sector.

  • Identify, estimate, propose, and secure construction, maintenance, shutdown, outage, and capital project opportunities.

  • Lead projects from concept through completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout.

  • Manage project financial performance, contracts, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, and overall project documentation.

  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, field personnel, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, supporting operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable project execution.

  • Monitor project risks, schedules, manpower, and costs, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve project objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field experience.

  • 3+ years of project management experience in industrial construction, maintenance, shutdowns, or capital projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance.

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.

  • Background in estimating, business development, and client relationship management.
