Senior Project Manager

W.B. Guimarin & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial mechanical construction projects while mentoring the next generation of project managers.

This is more than a project management position—it's an opportunity to influence company operations, develop high-performing teams, build lasting customer relationships, and help shape the future of one of South Carolina's premier mechanical contractors.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, cash flow, forecasting, and profitability
  • Develop strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field leadership
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, and risk management
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support the growth of the Project Management team
  • Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while exceeding project expectations

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing large commercial HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical projects
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Proven leadership experience developing project teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
