Job description

There is more good work under contract in Greater Boston right now than there are people who can run it. Lab and life science, multifamily, institutional, commercial. The builders we work with are not short on backlog. They are short on Project Managers who can own a job without being managed themselves.

Belmont Search recruits Project Managers for general contractors and construction managers across Greater Boston. This posting covers current and upcoming searches at the PM level.

What the job looks like at the firms we represent:

  • Budget, buyout, change orders and requisitions are yours, start to finish.
  • One schedule, built with your Superintendent, no daylight between you.
  • Owner meetings you run, not attend.
  • Forecasts that hold in month nine, and close-outs that end with the client asking for you by name.

You have probably run $5M-$50M commercial, multifamily or institutional work, and you can walk through the job that went sideways and what you did about it. That conversation tells us more than the resume will.

Salary is $115,000 - $160,000 depending on the shop and the work, plus bonus. The right move also buys better projects and a shorter path to Senior PM, which matters more than the base by year three.

Every conversation is confidential, including from your current employer. Call or text John directly at (305) 871-9821, or apply and he will call you. If the timing is wrong, a ten-minute read on your market is still worth having. Introductions welcome.
