PROJECT MANAGER / COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Position Summary

Establishes project objectives and manages multiple commercial building projects (typically $5Mโ€“$40M). Coordinates with clients and project teams to ensure safe, onโ€‘time, and onโ€‘budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish overall project objectives for assigned projects
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate administrative/logistical support with Superintendents
  • Prepare, maintain, and update project schedules; coordinate with field leadership
  • Lead weekly progress/design meetings with owners, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Plan and manage procurement of materials and services
  • Develop scopes of work and manage vendor/subcontractor coordination
  • Manage project costs and participate in accounting updates and approvals
  • Schedule and attend job meetings; manage project closeout procedures
  • Travel to project sites as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience (7โ€“10 years preferred)
  • Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills (scheduling, estimating, value engineering)
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Deadlineโ€‘ and detailโ€‘oriented; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Software proficiency: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large, complex projects valued at $10M+.
Work Environment / Travel

Work is performed in both office and field environments; travel to project sites may be required.
