CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Cowen Construction, a fourth generation Oklahoma Construction Company established in 1896, is recruiting for a limited number of qualified Construction Project Managers.

Project types include commercial mid-rise, industrial, retail, mixed use, medical, hospitality and multi-family.
We are looking for a proactive take charge building professional who takes pride in delivering excellence. Some of the specific core responsibilities include:
โ€ข Assist estimating department in bidding process and accepting hand-off of awarded projects
โ€ข Set up project through proper accounting procedures
โ€ข Establish and maintain a working relationship with the customer
โ€ข Develop and maintain a project schedule consistent with contractual requirements
โ€ข Review subcontract bids for completeness, revise as necessary and negotiate best possible contract with subcontractors and material suppliers
โ€ข Issue Purchase Orders for necessary materials
โ€ข Maintain project budget
โ€ข Prepare and review with Superintendent Job Start Package
โ€ข Conduct pre-construction meetings with appropriate parties
โ€ข Conduct periodic job meetings during construction with appropriate parties
โ€ข Work with the Superintendent, assist with job specific procedures and adjust progress as necessary to insure timely completion of project
โ€ข Assist Superintendent with job specific safety requirements and ensure their compliance
โ€ข Process all required paperwork for both internal and external use
โ€ข Ensure that both Company and client objectives are being met
โ€ข Prepare close out documentation in accordance to accounting procedures

โ€ข Travel as necessary for the proper execution of assigned projects

โ€ข Computer proficiency in the Windows environment, Bluebeam, and Procore
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
โ€ข Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Equivalent preferred
โ€ข Experience: 5 years minimum
