About the Role

McDonald York is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects across a variety of sectors.

This role works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate documentation, subcontractors, and project processeshelping keep projects organized, on track, and moving forward.

Youll have the opportunity to gain experience across a range of project types, including complex and technical environments such as life sciences and healthcare.

What Youll Do

  • Support project execution from start to finish, including scheduling and coordination
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Assist with pay applications, cost tracking, and budget monitoring
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Track and manage change orders and project updates
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across teams

What Were Looking For

  • 15 years of construction experience (or relevant internship experience)
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
