We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Project Scheduler to support the planning, scheduling, and tracking of electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their skills and build a career in project scheduling.
The Role:
As a Junior Project Scheduler, you will support the planning, coordination, and tracking of construction projects to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams, you will assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and providing schedule updates to stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software.
  • Support Project Managers and field teams by tracking project milestones, activities, and deliverables.
  • Collect and analyze schedule updates from project teams and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports for project stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.
  • Assist with resource loading, manpower forecasting, and schedule optimization efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project records and scheduling documentation.
  • Support the development of recovery schedules when project delays occur.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to track long-lead material deliveries and their impact on project schedules.
  • Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules for field operations.
  • Ensure scheduling information is communicated effectively to project teams and leadership.

What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction scheduling, project coordination, project engineering, or a related role.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in electrical construction, commercial construction, industrial construction, or mission-critical/data center projects.
  • Understanding of critical path methodology (CPM) scheduling.
