Job description

Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and taking pride in quality craftsmanship? Join our Facilities team and help keep our hospital safe, secure, and operating at its best for patients, visitors, and staff every day.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on smoke and fire door systems to ensure they meet life safety standards.
  • Repair and maintain walls, doors, windows, ceilings, cabinets, countertops, and other building fixtures.
  • Install, repair, and adjust mechanical and electronic locksets, panic hardware, door closers, hinges, automatic doors, and door operators.
  • Cut and issue keys while maintaining secure key control records, master key systems, and restricted keyways.
  • Partner with contractors during construction and renovation projects.
  • Assist other maintenance trades as needed to support hospital operations.
  • Follow Infection Prevention Risk Assessment (IPRA/ICRA) guidelines during maintenance and construction activities to help protect patients and staff.
