FCI Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Auburn, Indiana.

We are looking for a motivated professional who can effectively manage priorities, coordinate multiple responsibilities, and successfully execute project objectives from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering successful project outcomes while supporting strong team collaboration.

Essential Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Maintain close communication regarding project progress with both the Safety Department and Project Superintendent.
  • Lead, document, and communicate the results of project meetings to ensure timely collaboration and alignment among all team members.
  • Prepare and distribute professional-quality reports for both internal and external audiences, consistently delivering information that meets or exceeds expectations.

Planning & Scheduling

  • Partner with the Pre-Construction team to assist with budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor project schedules from site logistics and mobilization through project closeout and warranty completion.
  • Develop schedules that reflect a practical construction sequence and provide the level of detail necessary for the entire project team to effectively track progress.

Budgeting & Project Performance

  • Develop and oversee project budgets and cost controls to support the financial performance of assigned projects and provide accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential coordination issues and project conflicts early, proactively resolving them before they impact project performance while striving for mutually beneficial outcomes.

Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships through project involvement, industry networking, and active participation in professional organizations, contributing to both personal and company success.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of standard accounting principles, budgeting practices, and related terminology.
