About the Role:
Join Falcon Fire Protection as a Construction Project Assistant in Jackson, MI, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital fire suppression projects while growing your skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsible for assisting the Project Managers in all aspects of the projects assigned, effectively and efficiently.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS


The Project Manager Assistant reports directly to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Help assist project managers with all daily tasks
  • Assist in permitting and inspection process-calling for inspectionsย 
  • Attend pre-construction meetings for assigned projects
  • Follow-up with subcontractors missing paperwork
  • Maintaining document control of all critical information, bid packages, permits, submittals, RFIโ€™s, change orders, contracts, insurance certificates, safety documents, schedule updates, and daily logs.
  • Project Closeout Support including closeout documentation, obtaining Certificates of Occupancy, and warranty documentation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of construction operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
