We are an established and growing restoration general contractor that specializes in rebuilding and restoring residential buildings after a flood, fire, or other natural disaster. We are seeking a Assistant Construction Manager to support construction operations across New England and New York. This hybrid role combines field execution, project coordination, and administrative support, with a defined path to grow into a Construction Manager/Project Manager position.

Responsibilities:
  • Field Operations & Project Support: Travel to job sites, document progress, track deficiencies, and support field teams.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Coordinate subcontractors, selections, budget procurement, contract adherence, track schedules, assist with change orders, and support on-time project delivery.
  • Administrative & Financial Support: Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses while maintaining accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide status updates, action plans, maintain project files, and support client/management reporting.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years construction or project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle record required.
