The Area Operations Manager should possess the following skills, characteristics, and abilities:

  • 5+ years of HVAC management-related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Exhibit in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

  • Effectively direct work assignments, evaluating employee performance, conducting problem resolution, and disciplining employees, ensuring discipline and termination practices are fair and consistent.
  • Assist with the implementation of operational improvements to increase margin growth.
  • Assist in driving area sales by operationally supporting sales efforts with the sales team and estimators.
  • Collaborate with the Area Operations Support Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes for a better client experience through timely and clear communication.
  • Develop, evaluate, and analyze key operational performance metrics based on company goals and expectations.
  • Provide support for special projects as assigned by the Area General Manager.
