YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
The Construction Project Manager will work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with all work taking place onsite and in-office. Project sites are located within a 10-mile radius of Fenton, Missouri, ensuring efficient daily operations and minimal travel time.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving each assigned project to completion-on time, on budget, and according to specifications. You will manage the full production schedule, coordinate subcontractors and internal crews, and oversee all field execution and quality control. Daily communication with foremen will be essential to plan ahead for materials and labor needs. You will conduct regular site visits, ensure milestone quality checks are completed, and make any necessary mid-project adjustments. Progress updates and milestone completions will be submitted to the operations and customer service teams, and you will manage change orders and confirm material readiness in advance. You will also perform final job walks at 95% completion to ensure the project is finished with excellence and within target margins.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER:
  • Construction and remodeling knowledge
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently ($50K - $250K typical size)
  • Strong project scheduling and coordination skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and influence gross profit (target is 35%+)
  • Ability to lead and train foremen and crew members
