Job description

Daniels Property Group (DPG) is the real estate partner of Daniels Health, supporting the acquisition, development, construction, and management of healthcare and industrial facilities across North America. As Daniels continues to expand, DPG is building an internal construction team responsible for maintaining, improving, and protecting our facilities.

We're looking for an experienced Construction & Maintenance Specialist to support construction, maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement projects across our national property portfolio. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong construction trade background who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and helping deliver high-quality projects.

What you will do
  • Perform general building maintenance, repairs, renovations, and facility improvements.
  • Complete special projects across the Daniels property portfolio.
  • Inspect facilities and identify maintenance or repair needs.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and assist with project planning and scheduling.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs and respond to facility maintenance issues.
  • Assist with roofing and other capital improvement projects as needed.
  • Ensure work complies with OSHA regulations, building codes, and Daniels safety standards.
  • Travel extensively throughout the United States.
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of commercial construction or facility maintenance experience.
  • Skilled trade experience in carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, or general construction.
  • Knowledge of commercial building systems and construction practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
